Technical Relationship Manager (TRM) – DACH Region

Based – Munich, Germany or Homeoffice in DACH Region

We are leading the way in the hot area of desktop virtualization, with close partnerships including Microsoft, Citrix, VMware, IBM, HP and others. We are looking for someone to join our Technical Consultant Team in Germany.

The TRM is responsible for:

• Technical support for mayor accounts in cooperation with the Territory PreSales and the AppSense Certified Solution Partner (CSP)
• Architecture work for the AppSense Products in the customer environment
• Consulting work in cooperation with the CSP
• Post Sales (Technical Updates for mayor accounts, Technical contact for mayor accounts) in cooperation with AppSense Support Desk and CSP
• Primary contact for the customer, account list will be review every 3 month
• Help escalate cases to  support

Requirements:

• Travelling thru the DACH (Germany, Austria, Switzerland and Czech) territory – 4 day per week
• Strong technical knowledge about the Microsoft Infrastructure, Terminal Services (incl. Citrix)
• Technical knowledge about Citrix XenDesktop and VMWare View
• Recommended: MCSE or MCTS , CCEA
• Basic presentation skills
• Good understanding of enterprise customer, experience in managing account directly
• German and English speaker

• The Junior PreSales Consultant is responsible for:
• Live Demonstrations of the AppSense Software via Webcast 
• Live Demonstrations of the AppSense Software onsite at the customer (focus on south Germany)
• AppSense Certified Solution Partner (CSP) education and support
• Proof-of-Concepts together with CSPs onsite at customers (focus on south Germany)
• Presentations on Events

Requirements:

• Technical knowledge about the Microsoft Infrastructure, Terminal Services (incl. Citrix), XenDesktop and VMWare View
• Recommended: MCSE or MCTS , CCEA
• Basic presentation skills
• Familiarity with SalesForce CRM, Citrix GotoMeeting and GotoWebinar would be beneficial to your application

Unter bestimmten Umständen ist es möglich das der AppSense Performance Manager die COM Port Redirection von Citrix blockiert.

Diese Situation lässt sich mit folgenden Befehl nachstellen:

chance client /view

-> Error: “Could Not Find Client Network Provider”

Das Problem lässt sich auf die Memory Optimizer Funktion des AppSense Performance Managers zurückführen. Der Optimizer optimiert in diesen Fall die COM Redirector Dateien (z.B. CDMPROV.DLL).

Um das COM Port Weiterleitung mit aktivieren Performance Manager dennoch zu verwenden, müssen folgende Einstellungen im Performance Manager gemacht werden:

Performance Manager Console > Global Ressources > Memory Optimizer > Excluded Components:
